My first dinner at Jasmine's: vegetable curry, Kofola and a choice of meat-free dishes that would make me want to return.

On Sunday evening, 27 September 2026, I visited Jasmine's Indická Restaurant in Vršovice for the first time. I went on my own and spent about an hour there. What I particularly like about Indian food is its vegetable and chickpea dishes, so I am interested in whether I can choose from several meat-free options. There is that kind of choice here, and it is the main reason I would come back.
I had Vegetable Curry for 170 Kč and a 0.50 l Kofola for 45 Kč. I paid 215 Kč in total. I like Kofola, so I was pleased to see it on the menu. That was the price of my food and drink, not a set meal with a side dish. Rice and breads are listed separately. The Menu section of the website lists Basmati Rice at 59 Kč and Classic Naan at 49 Kč.
Of the other dishes, I am most tempted by Chickpease Masala, listed at 170 Kč in the online menu. Chickpea curry is one of my favourites, so that is probably what I would order next time. The menu also includes Dal Makhani for 160 Kč and Aloo Gobi for 189 Kč. For me, it is good to have a choice rather than just one vegetable option.
Jasmine's is not a purely vegetarian restaurant, though. They also serve meat curries, tandoor dishes and biryani. Their website mentions vegan and gluten-free options as well. I would rather check the specific ingredients when ordering. Judging by the menu, it seems a reasonable choice for a shared dinner with people who eat differently.
My rating is 4 out of 5, and I would like to return. I do not want to judge the whole kitchen from a single visit; for now, it is mainly the choice that draws me back. The prices of the other dishes come from the online menu, which has no validity date. I would therefore check them again before another visit.
When I checked the website on 29 September 2026, all the individual prices quoted here matched the Menu section. However, the homepage and Menu disagree on some other items: for example, Tomatoe soup is 75 Kč on the homepage and 65 Kč in Menu. It is not clear from the website which price list is current, so the quoted menu prices are not a guarantee of what a future visit will cost. My bill above relates only to this one dinner.
